remove the whole darn thing. Some months back when I had my computer worked on, the Notepad program appeared. Every since then, I have been recieving SO MANY viruses, Computer is EXTREMELY slow no matter how many times I clean it, remove unused space, etc. AVG. %26 Norton are doing a good job of catching the viruses, but they are all seeming to come up on Notepad. PLEASE!?? What can I do to get my speed back(I have dialup) and stop this Bug, or just remove the Notepad? Thanks if you can help!

Eliminate the note pad , and do not re inyall it after 48 hours.
clean the disk meanwhile the actual"note pad"is not present ,
also defragment the c:/ disk ,
and create a new restore point, before re install the note pad from the original microsoft disk.
