My PC has been infected with FalconSpy, and Malwipe, and I can't seem to get rid of them with my PeoplePc Security Pack. Is there a free software program that I can download that can actually delete these viruses from my computer and not just scan the problem ? The best answers gets 10 pts.

Avast has a scanner and virus cleaner. You have to have the free home edition anti-virus software though. I really like this one. I had a win32.sasser on mine and it washed it right out and restored some files. My PC is running smoother now. It also has a kick a$$ database update. The only thing that it doesn't seem to be compatible with is the Adaware software. But that is because it is a data miner. AND on the plus side of things, both the anti-virus and the cleaner are totally free. Yeah, I have the Adaware SE on my computer too. But you can set it up to accept the program as safe file.
check some of the antivirus websites like mcafee.com, symantec.com, or avast.com. They sometimes will have downloadable removal tools that work for specific viruses, or manual removal instructions.
Install Smantec Norton Antivirus and Firwall, run live update and then run a full system scan, it will remove viruses and spywares from you computer completly.

If I have said NO then don't shock. Because I myself realized that Trend Micro is not foolproof against latest viruses like Brontok and Sality. You are not safe coz I found a lot viruses and worms in Trend Micro installed computer. I'm not here for marketing purpose. You can read all posts at my website too. I am using Trend Micro Office Client as well.As far as Scanning is concerned it is very good.But the Updating sequence is Pathetic.I mean by saying that I am unable to get connected to the Trendmicro server even after hitting the 'update' buttons repeatedly.The Trend Micro Office Client is provided by our service provider for free.And since I cannot uninstall it, I have to keep it.At the moment I am three pattern files behind.

you dont have any protection programs? or they are all expired? You might have to purchase a good one (like Norton, Kaspersky or Mcafee...) online, but if you dont wanna do that, you can format your computer again by yourself, just put everything you need in drive D, and delete drive C totally, but the thing is you have to have a CD with a key to format windows again. If you dont have a key, you can find one online for Windows XP, Windows Vista and try to crack, but for me, it's kinda complicated and sometimes the keys found are in blacklist, kinda unsafe. does your computer still have guarantee? if so call the customer service and ask a technician what to do step by step to format your computer or if you cant do it yourself, send it back to the factory, they will format it all over again for you. Your computer will be like new without viruses, but remember to back up your data like documents, pictures, music (put them on CDs) before you send your computer. Good luck!

Well unless you install something from a disk with a virus you can not get a virus if you don't connect to the internet ever.

But you're saying you want to wirelessly access the internet using the Belkin USB Network Adapter. If you use that you will obviously be connecting to the internet, in which case you are potentially susceptible to a virus.

P2P SOFTWARE usually dont hold viruses, the things ppl download does. The lower version of limewire used to have spyware in it or something. Limewire PRO is my preferance. But I use a different sharing technology now. Anyway, if you dont want to contract viruses from P2P, use common sense. Most songs are around 3mbs. If you see a song like .2mbs, it might be a virus? I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. Depends on if you are just re-installing the program or if you formated before re-installing. if you formatted, they are gone.
You usually have to do more than reinstall. you actually have to format the hard drive. As this will delete all the files off your computer, you will want to be sure you backup anything you want in the way of pictures, music, documents you have written, etc. first. Copy them to a CD or DVD (something that can be removed from your computer) before formatting the hard drive. Do NOT try to backup any of the programs, just the data files.
Reinstalling won't remove them. You need to make sure you format and repartition your hard drive first before reinstalling. then they will be gone, Unless you have a virus that has infected your bios or cmos.

If you only re-install windows without re-formating the hard drive, the virus's and trojan horses could still be on the hard drive. I would re-format and then install windows from scratch. You could also just get a free anti-virus software program like AVG from free.grisoft.com. Good Luck!

If you are going to download free (illegal) music then you need to learn to download smart. Viruses are only for those who don't know how to use their software. Software like limewire (limewire.com) can be a risk if you don't know what you are doing. Make sure files you download have the ".mp3", ".mp4", or ".acc" file extension and have a size of at least 2.5megs (2500kb)

I recently updated my Zone Alarm security and since then I am getting all these viruses. It says it

Your phone is already safe from viruses. Neither viruses, nor anti-virus software exists for it.

Currently, the vast majority of viruses and other malware for mobile phones is for Symbian S60 R2 phones (although some of it works on Symbian UIQ phones). Your phone is not a Symbian phone, so this is not a problem for you.

There are very few malicious programs for PalmOS and Windows Mobile - but your phone isn't running any of these operating systems, either.

I can GUARANTEE you can't get viruses on your phone. It is almost impossible.

That's the whole reason why there are no anti-virus programs out there. The operating system on your phone does not use kernel. kernel is used by windows, and is what is affected by viruses when you get a virus on your computer. Since your phone does not have kernel, it therefor cannot get viruses. You could download all the trojans in the world and your phone would be unaffected

Why is my computer suddenly running so slowly when I have no viruses and no spyware and clean drives

Yesterday I was watching a DVD on my laptop with my girlfriend when suddenly the computer started to lag-- the sound and video on the DVD started to break up as if my computer though it was a bad movie. After the lag, I ran Ad-Aware, noticing that it took forever for the program to come up, only to find that no spyware was on my computer besides basic tracking cookies. I restarted my computer, thinking that maybe something so simple would fix it, but no, it took 5 minutes for the computer to restart.

I have defragmented my drives, used Disk Cleanup, checked for viruses with Norton Anti-Virus, removed any spyware that existed, and still my computer is extremely sluggish.

I am using Windows XP on a HP laptop with 1 Gig of ram. Not sure what else you need to know, but my computer was much, much faster before this sudden change.

Xm has great hair! I should also say that if your PC is taxed by The Sims 2, to add custom content carefully. Sometimes custom content can tax graphics cards, if they are really complex.

Unfortunately it sounds like your system is pretty infected.
