Since you are looking to clean up viruses, adware, etc, I'll assume that you are running Windows.

If you are running XP or Vista, I would suggest Windows Defender. If you are running something older, try AdAware. Both are free.

do online scan with kaspersky this is latest and removes many spy, mal, ad, and virueses... good one try.....
I found PrevX incidentally, 2 and a half year ago, while reading a scientific magazine. I still relied on Norton at that time and PrevX was still an experimental antispyware whose editing company offered a month of use free of charge.

I was victim of numerous intrusions attempt with spywares and it happened that PrevX proved able to see what Norton failed to see when my computer was under attack.

try avg we have it on r comp and never get anythin wrong with rs and its worth putting ad muncher it is easy to install u never get any adverts or pop ups give it a go
