May be. Because majority uses Microsoft Windows. Hackers and virus developer's main goal is to suffer maximum No. of people. So Mac is usually safer ( but not good too)

Actually, laptop doesn't have to do anything with viruses. You need good anti virus and firewall to be protected from viruses.

There is no one computer that is more virus resistant, It all has to do with your software and the sites you frequent, things you click on and download as to whether you are virus prone. Get a good anti virus software, be cautious where you click, what you download and sites that you visit and you will be fine with whatever system you choose.
